I joined nuTonomy as its first Product Manager (around the time of its acquisition by Delphi/Aptiv) helping the R&D heavy team ship its first driverless product. As Senior Product Director at the resulting Motional, I led product and industrial design for our first driver-out robotaxi deployment (2021), and partnered with Hyundai in South Korea to co-develop the award winning IONIQ 5 robotaxi.

Motional - Senior Product Director: Level 4 Robotaxi and Last Mile Delivery in Las Vegas & LA 2020 – 2022

  • Lead Industrial Design and UX prototyping, to design and produce the Motional Ioniq 5 Robotaxi with Hyundai.
  • Lead requirements and market analysis for Level 4 automation and B2B integration with Lyft and Uber.

  • Product strategy, requirements and product development to move from R&D to first driverless product in 2020.
  • Technical partnerships including Tier 1, 2 and OEMs (BMW, FCA, Hyundai and component suppliers).
  • Collaboration with customers (e.g. Lyft, Uber, Grab, Via) to create custom solutions and define system integrations
